Hotel Bucket List #2 of Luxurious Interior Designs

In our last post, we shared our hotel bucket list #1 of luxurious suites with opulent interior designs. In addition to having luxe accommodations, the design of each suite showcases the stunning views that each location has to offer. That is what smart interior design is all about!

suite_ty-warner_fourseasons_channelFour Seasons Hotel, Ty Warner Penthouse, NYC
Created by visionary architects I. M. Pei and Peter Marino, this 4,300-square-foot penthouse is the highest hotel suite in New York City and offers incredible 360-degree views. What we love: every element, from the textiles to the furniture to the distinctive artwork, has been specially commissioned from internationally renowned artisans and craftspeople. The finest-quality finishes are employed at every level, from soft calfskin leather walls in the dressing room and semi-precious stones in the Zen room waterfall to rich walnut, afrormosia and Mexican sycamore wood in the spa room and Mexican travertine stone floors in the breakfast room. The master bathroom is clad in rare Chinese onyx, including sinks carved from solid blocks of rock crystal.

Auberge du Soleil Auberge du Soleil, Napa Valley, California
These deluxe accommodations feature clean architectural lines that blend French detail with relaxed California style. The open layout of the guestrooms was inspired by the colors of the South of France. The design creates a romantic, country-inn atmosphere through a muted color palette of sand, pale terracotta and ocher. The addition of custom furnishings, sculptural bathtubs, heated limestone floors and detailed stonework make for an exquisitely relaxing environment, providing a true sense of serenity and escape. French doors open onto a private terrace surrounded by seasonal foliage of Napa Valley offering varying views.

The Kamehameha Suite boasts a 3,200-square-foot veranda — the largest on Maui! Perfect for whale watching views of Moloka’i and Lana’i islands, the West Maui Mountains and the Pacific. The six-room oceanfront suite features a gourmet kitchen, three lavish bathrooms and natural teak and travertine finishes.

Nestled charmingly in the hills above the small village of Sairee on Koh Tao, all villas have stunning views overlooking the Gulf of Thailand. Each boutique villa has a private infinity pool that offer total privacy and complete relaxation. A large open-plan area featuring a spacious bedroom, en-suite dressing room, living area, contemporary bathroom with double washbasins, glassed-roofed shower and a separate kitchenette. The floor length sliding doors allow the front of each villa to be opened completely. This amplifies the living space and gives you an unobstructed view of the ocean. In 2015, The Place has been ranked No. 1 in the world by TripAdvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards in four categories: Small Hotel, Luxury Hotel, Hotel for Service and Hotel for Romance.
