We searched the internet for some of the best Halloween food ideas and here’s what we came up with.

Diaper Dip

We found this but there was no recipe attached.  Since the dippers are potato chips, we think it may be some kind of cheese or ranch dip that been food colored to look this nasty!  What ever it is, I doubt anyone will eat it – would you?

Puking Pumpkin

There’s nothing better than guacamole especially even if it’s been regurgitated.

Spilling your guts

It’s never a good idea to spill your guts at a party.

piece de REPULSIVE

Can you hand me the potatoes?

When potatoes and meatloaf go terribly wrong.

Here’s looking at you kid!

I see taco’s in my future.

Potent Pointers anyone

Are cookies with icing pointing you in the wrong direction.

Sinister spiders

I don’t know about your but my spidey sense is telling me yes!

You’ll just FALL in love with these COOL furnishings

Cosmopolitan Static Orange Hand-tufted Wool Rug (3'6" x 5'6")

Right now we’re thinking autumn and what better way to add the rich warm colors of fall to our home than with a pumpkin spice rug.  Cosmopolitan Static Orange

The Petrie Collection from Crate and Barrel.

Petrie Chair

Mid-century Modern Chair and ottoman

Petrie Ottoman

After the trees have shed their leaves and the mighty trunks remain, we marvel at the sculptural shapes left behind.  We felt the same way about this mid-century modern chair and ottoman set.  The Petrie collection is offered in 8 different and unique colors, but we really loved the Bark upholstery they offered, especially this time of year.  The brown hues really come to life and motivate us to bring the colors outside in.  Whether you’re looking for just one more piece of furniture to add to your living room, or to update all of your pieces, the Petrie collection would pair nicely with any neutral colored styles you may already have in your home.

Mesquite Table Lamp from Cyan Design

Cyan Design Table Lamp

Mesquite Table Lamp 24″(w) x 50.5″(h) Mystic Silver

This cute, fun lamp is a great way to “brighten” up any room.   The dormant tree works perfect for this time of year, and will continue to throughout the colder months.  The crisp white shade will take us smoothly into the colder months. The metallic finish takes the traditional tree and makes it feel new, and modern.

Concrete + Chrome Coffee Table from West Elm http://www.westelm.com/products/concrete-chrome-coffee-table-h1460/?pkey=ccoffee-tables

The minimal chrome base rests a heavy concrete top that appears to float right before our eyes. This table is modern, unique, and striking. As the seasons change, this snow-covered table will keep you in style throughout the winter months.  The addition of concrete rather brings in the look for the urban lifestyle.  While it may appear to be overly large, at 30 square inches, it will actually fit most any living arrangement. A center table is intended to bring a room together and this simplistic yet unusual coffee table does just that.

Pretty in Pink

I don’t consider myself a girlie girl or even extremely feminine but I have always been drawn to pink when it come to interior design.  I have collected some photos for inspiration that I thought I would share – maybe I’ll bring out your secret desire to don some ruffles and lace.

For those two little princesses that want to share a bedroom

Elegant, comfortable and you may even be able to get your husband to agree

When you’re feeling a little Hollywood glam nostalgia

Go rose or go home!

Ruffles, lace and pink. Now that’s just so pretty!

Who says pink can’t be modern

Pink – it’s not just for the bedroom

A pink hue even a manly man could love

Wallpaper – we’re just hangin’ and getting pasted!

Wallpaper has been making a come back over the past few years and I have to say I’m thrilled.   While I love paint, sometimes a room just needs a little bit of a wow factor.  That’s where wallpaper rolls in.

You can use wallpaper in so many ways and in so many places.  We’ve put together a small sampling of some of our latest finds.

Wood Wallpaper

Wood Veneer Ajior Sunburst by Maya Romanoff

One of my favorites which has been actually been around for a few years is Ajiro Sunburst by Maya Romanoff – manufactured right here in Chicago.

Wood Look

This design is actually a wood veneer so when it’s installed it adds luxury and drama to any space.  This design is available in six colorways.  I could see this being used in both residential and of course commercial applications.  I’d like to use this as a backdrop for an upholstered headboard.

How about something a little more fun.  The paper below is by DL Couch and is part of their specialty collection.  Also comes in 6 colorways.  Apply this as an accent wall or go crazy and do a whole room.
